You will be primarily responsible for preparing, organizing, and monitoring the activities of automated production line equipment (winding, injection molding, inspection station, robots) and operating this line with a team of two operators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare production operations: install tooling (mold changes / winding equipment), select and launch production programs.
  • Operate and oversee production line equipment (product changeovers, adjustments, and ensuring proper equipment performance).
  • Organize production line activities (machines and operators).
  • Supply workstations with components and raw materials.
  • Ensure the production of parts.
  • Adjust and modify the parameters of the various production line equipment.
  • Identify the appropriate plastic materials and place them in drying ovens.
  • Prepare, change, and purge raw materials on injection molding machines.
  • Update dashboards and performance indicators for the production area.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing production efficiency.
  • Train operators.
  • Maintain and service equipment as well as molds.
     

Candidate Profile
Entry-level candidates are welcome, or you may have equivalent experience in an industrial environment.
You have a background in plastics processing, robotics, or basic knowledge of plastic injection molding.
Your knowledge of mechanics and robotics will be key assets in successfully carrying out the assigned responsibilities.
You demonstrate efficiency, responsiveness, and possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Based in Vendôme, France
Rotating 2-shift schedule (2x8)
Workshop operating from Monday to Friday

As part of the development of our business, we are looking for our future METHODS TECHNICIAN (M/F).

Within the Methods Department, the main mission is to implement all actions related to the improvement or industrialization of production resources, while taking into account regulatory standards, quality, costs, and deadlines.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and commissioning new tooling and workstations (study, design, supplier consultations, ordering, manufacturing follow-up, assembly, adjustment, training, and implementation)
  • Presenting projects
  • Developing and improving production tooling and creating technical drawings
  • Participating in the training of operators and setters on new tooling
  • Writing and monitoring workstation instruction sheets
  • Performing machine capability studies
  • Analyzing collected information and proposing improvements or corrective actions
  • Supporting pre-series production runs
  • Contributing to process development
  • Managing the spare parts inventory for production equipment (procurement, quotations, orders, etc.)
  • Leading 5-minute meetings
  • Participating in SeQCDP sector meetings
  • Contributing to problem-solving activities
  • Analyzing, defining, and monitoring processes and activities within the ERP system (routing times)
  • Participating in the certification of new production equipment

Specific Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (TopSolid, SolidWorks) and general mechanical engineering knowledge
  • CNC lathe programming skills would be a plus (ISO programming)

Profile Required:

  • Technical diploma in mechanics and production engineering
  • 2 to 5 years of experience within a methods department
  • Production experience would be appreciated
  • Basic knowledge of automation systems would be an advantage

Full-time permanent contract (CDI), RTT days, daytime schedule with flexible working hours.

Salary: starting from €30,000 per year.
