Founder of ECOFIT in 1976, he left us on October 3.

Guy Carbonell founded ECOFIT in 1976 with his two partners, Hervé Lamirault and Jacques Bardin. The initial idea was to manufacture fractional motors for kitchen hood ventilation, then fans for the controlled mechanical ventilation (CMV) market. ECOFIT fans were then integrated into many different applications.
After founding the company, Guy Carbonell participated in its development as Technical Director until 2012. He was so passionate about his job and the company that he didn't retire until the age of 66.
He continued to support us for the rest of his life, visiting us regularly to share his technical expertise.
Guy was a dynamic man, involved in a wide range of activities. He was smiling, friendly and very easy to talk to.
Delivered from illness, he left us on October 3, 2024 at the age of 78.
Our thoughts are with Guy and his family.
We will miss him very much.
