Discovering Industry

As part of the French Industry Week 2025, Rosenberg Vendôme, manufacturer of ECOFIT and ETRI fans, welcomed students from Jean Emond Middle School (Vendôme) to its site. Accompanied by Mr. Crenn, deputy principal, and Mrs. Caroline Cathala, physics teacher and homeroom teacher, the 9th-grade class (3e7) explored the world of industrial professions.

Organized by Sandrine, the visit included three stages: company presentation, plant tour, and introduction to key support functions.

Inside a Modern Industrial Company

The morning began with a presentation of Rosenberg Vendôme, its products, applications, organization, and safety rules. The students discovered how a human-sized industrial company operates and how its teams collaborate daily to design and manufacture high-quality ventilation solutions.

A Tour at the Heart of Production

Wearing safety equipment, the students toured the production workshop with Michael, Production Manager. They observed several manufacturing stages, custom-built machinery, and the new robotic line. Michael explained the variety of jobs within the factory, highlighting the different technical profiles and degrees leading to these positions, from operators to automation engineers.

The Support Functions That Drive the Company

The second part of the visit focused on four departments:

• Sales and Customer Service – Mylène and Émilie explained the sales and order management process, describing both internal collaboration and customer interactions. They underlined the importance of organization, communication skills, technical understanding and export sales.
• R&D and Industrialization Department – Willy presented the three divisions of the engineering office: mechanical, electronic, and airflow simulation. He explained how innovation and teamwork enable Rosenberg Vendôme to deliver tailor-made ventilation solutions.
• Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Warehouse – Sébastien detailed how his department manages supplier relations, on-time component deliveries, and outgoing shipments to customers. He emphasized how coordination and reliability are key to maintaining continuous production.
• Quality Department – Ludovic and Jean-Noël introduced the quality management system, from incoming inspection to final checks, and continuous improvement processes that ensure the reliability and safety of all ECOFIT and ETRI products.

Inspiring Future Careers

The students, guided by Baptiste, Sylvie, Patrick, Gwenaëlle, Noëmie, Aude, and Sandrine, exchanged with our teams and discovered the wide range of industrial careers available.
This educational morning highlighted Rosenberg Vendôme’s commitment to innovation, teamwork, and knowledge sharing, while helping inspire future technical vocations among young people.
