Didier Deshayes joined ECOFIT in January 1983. At the time, he was a young graduate with no professional experience. He learned to work in the small team that was ECOFIT, a company founded 7 years earlier and specializing in ventilation solutions. Didier spent his entire career with the company, during which time he worked in a number of different areas. He began by setting up machines and control tools. He contributed to the development of the company and its ranges of axial, centrifugal forward and backward fans.

Didier says he enjoyed working in industry, on machines, on control panels and in the laboratory. In particular, he enjoyed preparing centrifugal and axial fan prototypes for customers, whose ventilation requirements can be highly specific. He was also involved in the introduction and implementation of our Iso certifications, which guarantee the quality of our work processes.

Didier then had the opportunity to take over the sales department. He put his product knowledge to work for our customers, whose ventilation needs can be highly specific and are constantly evolving. He really enjoyed proposing ventilation solutions tailored to our customers' needs. In his opinion, patience and perseverance are the keys to successful projects.

He also really enjoyed developing international sales, particularly in conjunction with our distributors and Group companies around the world. He took a real interest in the different cultures he discovered during his commercial exchanges.

In 2020, Didier took over the management of our plant and the company changed its name to Rosenberg Vendôme. His appointment coincided with the Covid crisis and its consequences. In particular, there were shortages of raw materials and electronic components, and our sales rose sharply during this period. We did our best to stand by our customers during this difficult period.

Didier said goodbye to the staff at his retirement party on June 10. During his speech, he declared that he had confidence in the new management and all the company's teams to ensure a dynamic future for the company, offering innovative, high-quality ventilation solutions while keeping customer satisfaction at the heart of our priorities.

We wish you a happy retirement Didier!
